1. Components of the access control system

1. Identification

(2) Face recognition

2. Sensing and alarm

3. Processing and control

The processing and control equipment part usually refers to the controller of the access control system, or the management machine (server), and the card issuer.

(1) Access controller

It is the core part of the access control system and the most important part of the access control system. Just like the human brain, it stores a large number of relevant personnel’s card numbers, passwords and other information, and is also responsible for running and processing tasks, making judgments and responding to various access requests.

The access controller is composed of arithmetic unit, storage unit, input unit, output unit, communication unit and so on.

(2) Card issuer

The core equipment authorized for the access control card records the serial number of the ic/id card in the server list library of the access control system to ensure the normal entry and exit of the card holder and the card recognition function.

(3) Dedicated power supply for access control

Provide working power to the door lock reader and other parts.

4. Electric lock and execution

The electric lock and execution unit part includes a variety of electronic locks, which are sensitive in action, reliable in execution, good in moisture-proof and anti-corrosion performance, and have sufficient mechanical strength and anti-destructive capabilities.

There are many types and types of electronic locks. Different communication cables are used in different situations. Commonly used communication cables include RVV, RVS, communication network cables and so on.

The difference between different cables is:

    The inside of the RVV cable is a parallel wire, and the inside of the RVS is a paired wire. RVVP and RVSP add a layer of copper or aluminum foil shielding net on the basis of RVV and RVS.
    The RVV line has a wide range of uses and can be used for power supply, control, etc., and RVS is generally used for fire fighting signals and broadcast signal lights.

The components of the access control system:

(1) Electromagnetic lock: The electromagnetic lock opens the door after power failure, which meets the fire protection requirements. (2) Anode lock: The anode lock is a power-off opening type, which meets the fire protection requirements. It is installed on the upper part of the door frame. Different from electromagnetic locks, anode locks are suitable for two-way wooden doors, glass doors, and fire doors, and it has a door magnetic detector that can detect the safety status of the door at any time.
(3) Cathode lock: The general cathode lock is a power-on type. Suitable for one-way wooden doors. The installation of cathode lock must be equipped with UPS power supply. Because the female lock locks the door when the power fails.
