1.Software protocol

The default baud rate is 9600, one starting bit, 8 data bits, one stop bit, and invalid bit. The default communication address 0x01. The protocol conforms to the MODBUS RTU specification.

Instruction detailed explanation (with address 1 as an example)

1, read the switch quantity input.

Send instruction format: Address (1 byte) + command (one byte) + register address (two byte) + data field (two byte) +CRC check code (two bytes).

Data return format: Address (1 bytes) + command (one byte) + return byte number (1 bytes) + returned data (one byte) +CRC check code (two bytes)

returnreturn0F,Only low 4 bits of this module are only concerned about low four bits. From the first to the firstThe 4 bit indicates the state of the switch input from INPUT1 to INPUT4 respectively. When the input signal is switched on, the corresponding bit is 0. If the first switch volume has input, the other road has no switch input and this value is 0E.

4,Setting the module address

5. Amend the baud rate

Modify the baud rate to 19200 send 000600020005E9 D8

After the modification, the same data will be sent back, and then the device is recharged, that is to complete the modification. When the baud rate is forgotten, the baud rate of the serial port and transceiver can be set respectively from 1200 to 19200. When the baud rate is modified, only one device can be connected.

 

This product can definitely connect to PLC. We know that PLC supports MODBUS RTU protocol, and the following is the Modbus Poll test communication using MODBUS's test software.

The interface provides source code, powerful, able to modify the device's address, to operate the various relays, and to read the switch input, and to read whether the relay is absorbing or closing. It can also calculate the CRC check value, and can display the data returned by the device.
