3. How to use magnetic core drill (hollow drill):

1) Installation method:

A. Right-angle handle: align the two planes of the handle end with the two screw holes on the main shaft of the drill, tighten it with an Allen key with a gap of 0.2-0.3MM, and gently turn it back and forth by hand to confirm that the Allen screw is perpendicular to the two planes, then apply force Tighten the screws.

B. Universal shank: align the round hole on the shank end with the steel ball in the drill chuck and install it. The universal handle can also be fixed with hexagon socket screws, as long as the hexagon socket screws are vertically screwed on the handle end plane.

C. Four-hole handle:

1) Turn the safety ring on the main shaft clockwise to the position, insert the handle end directly and rotate it in a small range until the steel ball enters the round hole.

2) Feed rate: The feed rate is generally based on experience. From a numerical point of view, it is generally 0.08-0.12MM/rev, or 0.6-1.0MM/sec. The feed rate is a key element in drilling. Different feeds The given amount can form different iron filings, and different iron filings will change the performance of chip removal. 3) Positioning: Use a central chisel to hit a positioning point at the position where drilling is needed or use an alloy needle to make a "cross" line to ensure the accuracy of the drilling position. Note that when using the center chisel to hit the positioning point, please make sure that the center chisel is perpendicular to the surface of the workpiece, so as not to affect the smooth discharge of the cutting core.

4) Start drilling: adjust the appropriate speed, make sure the bottom of the drill magnetic base is clean before starting, turn on the magnetic base switch and then the motor switch, the motor is running and open the coolant switch at the same time, when the drill bit touches the steel plate, first feed slowly , After drilling about 1-2MM, feed at normal speed. 5) End of drilling: After turning off the motor and waiting for the spindle to stop rotating, use an iron hook to remove the iron filings wound on the drill body, and then continue the operation.
